“When designing the kitchen we really wanted a ‘work’ area, that was hidden but still felt like it was part of the kitchen - like an open butlers pantry. The fridge, oven, microwave, stove and a little bench which houses the coffee machine, toaster etc are all down that end, behind the wall of pantry cupboards. That allowed the ‘pretty’ part of the kitchen to be all you see from the rest of downstairs living/dining room.”
